So this whole week in predicting scores we have some successes and some complete misses like last week. Lets recap: Average Rotten Tomato Predictions: Expendables 2: 45% Actual 65% Paranorman: 76% Actual 85% Sparkle: 52% Actual 55% The Odd Life of Timothy Green: 47% Actual 40% So for the Rotten Tomatoes score it seems that we only had 1 miss and that was the Pleasant surprise called The Expendable 2. Average Metacritic Predictions: Expendables 2: 43 Actual 52 Paranorman: 70 Actual 73 Sparkle: 50 Actual 54 The Odd Life of Timothy Green: 45 Actual 48 So for the metacritic scores it seems all of them were within a ten point radius of eachother and that makes them hits. For next weeks wide releases Hit and Run, Premium Rush, and The Apparition please start predicting now... My Predictions for the upcoming weekend: Premium Rush-Rotten Tomatoes:75% Metacritic:68 Hit and Run-Rotten Tomatoes:71% Metacritic:63 The Apparition-Rotten Tomatoes:52% Metacritic:48 Explanations for my predictions: Premium Rush looks like a solid movie for the end of summer benefitting from a strong performance from Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Hit and Run looks like a tiny likeable comedy with a great cast. The Apparition has potential with its great cast, but probably won't expand beyond the boundaries of the formula. ![]() |
