So, we all have heard that the movie is in the works. Now, according to various sources, they are looking for actors. Who would you cast? A lot of names have been rumored to be playing Christian Grey, including Ian Somerholder, Josh Henderson, Jesse Metcalfe, Channing Tatum, etc. Angelina Jolie is reportedly in talks to play the female lead, Anastasia. |

Someone who is willing to let it all hang lose, both performance-wise and literally. If you want to be faithful to the source material, then it has to happen. And if Angeline Jolie can still get cast as a college graduate (Anastasia), then there's something wrong with this world.
The best album of the year so far. "Past Gone" is the best song of the year as well. Check out Mike Stud's debut album on iTunes. |

I read the book and it is god-awful. It makes the Twilight series look like Alfred Hichcock material. And as for Angelina Jolie; that is not true at all, the female lead is supposed to be 22 years old. |

I have read the book as well. Only the first, because that was more than enough.![]() But i'm thinking Jennifer Lawrence maybe... i love her, but the problem is, I dont think she would do it... As for the guy, that blonde dude from True Blood. I dont know his name but a friend told me he fits the role.

Emma Watson & Alexander Skarsgard (or Ryan Gosling)! The book is terrible, btw. |

Emma Watson already said she was not interested. And yeah, I can picture Ryan Gosling.

I think Emma Stone would be perfect for Ana. It's too bad Matthew Bomer looks 'older' cause he fits the description of Christian Grey. Gosling is cool but he isn't breathtakingly gorgeous as the character is supposed to be.
And the Oscar goes to...Kim Kardashian!

At one point, I thought William Levy has already been cast. And how come this book is set apart from other erotic novels and becomes such a phenomenon? |

Levy would be terrible. He was on a few episodes of "Single Ladies" and they barely gave him any lines cause his diction is so bad.

One thing that sets this book apart from a lot of other erotic novels, I think, is that it caused so much controversy when it came out. Supposedly, it was so bad it has been banned from many public libraries, and many people have called it a "pornography screenplay". I am currently in the middle of reading the book, and am on page 68. So far I wouldn't call the book horrible, but at the same time so far it hasn't lived up to the hype for me. But there are over 500 pages, So maybe I'm not on the best part yet. Lol. But I agree Jolie is way too old for this movie. I was just reporting the rumors. And I've thought of Christian Grey as a dark haired man. Someone like Ian Somerholder might not be that bad. |

The writers will have to do a lot of polishing on the script because the book is utter shit!!
