I don't think Simon was expecting XFactor to surpass ratings of a show like American Idol with 10 seasons under its belt that would be a stretch. I can see him wanting it to surpass "The Voice" which in some episodes it did.

IF Britney is a judge then hopefully they will have assistance with mentoring the talent. She will DEFINITELY be a ratings draw. I wonder which group would they give her? Boys, Girls, Groups, Overs?

I think they would give her an easy category to mentor, so IMO the Girls is very likely. Or maybe the Boys.

I love Britney and always have. But I do not want her to take this job. Over the years her personality has evacuated her body, she can't answer with a proper sentence, her interviews always come off very awkward and she's just not the performer she used to be. Yes, she's the face of pop culture, but at least Christina and Jlo are great judges who give great advice to their contestants. And they atleast have the talent to back it up. Jennifer still remains a great performer and Christina has that voice. It will be interesting how Britney will be as a judge. I already see her giving her half ass feedback: "That was great", "You have a good voice", "You Look great".

What the hell?????? They should just go ahead and cancel the damn show now. This is a disater waiting to happen. Gwen Stefani as host?? Demi Lavato as a freaking judge???? I don't mind Britney being a judge although she would be wasted space to be honest. Along with Britney they really should've gotten Mary J., Shania Twain, Mariah, Janet or hell even Gladys Knight lol.

That's great Brits hosting, sorry never cared for Lovato. Mariah would've been perfect. I'm trying to picture Gwen hosting and I'm not coming up with anything lol. However this will be great for her comeback and regaining steam after so many years.

We'll have to wait untill an official announcement is released to know who will be on. Also the Judges Auditions will begin and be taped in Austin, TX on May 24-25 so we'll know for sure that day.
