Hey Kids!

 

So, I am depressed about the old forums dying with no archive. I am taking it upon myself to port over as much as I physically can between now and Sept. 30.

 

I'm bringing things in, verbatim, as text, and will format them after the other site is down.

 

They will start with "GOLD DERBY ARCHIVE" and finish with "ARCHIVE ENDED." It would be great if you didn't comment until the archive is ended.

 

But there are a lot of shows that I want to read what people are saying about (like all the Best Dramas and Comedys of the past Emmy season, for example). Things that I think will be timeless, like people's grades on things. I'll do as much as I can.

 

I wish people would stop posting new things there and started posting new things here, it would make the tragedy of it so much easier...

 

Ah well. Back to archiving...

Well, I just saw Tom's post about the possibility of getting the archived files over here. So that would be wonderful. On the off chance that it doesn't work for some reason, though, I'm going to continue to port stuff over...

yes, that's a good back-up plan. We are optimistic, though, that we can move everything. It'll just take a week or so after the other forums shut down ... There will be a delay
