Even if the Oscars will take the coward's way out and nominate none of them for BP, the threesome that carried film this year and were its most amazing successes among critics and fans will vie for the PCA best film trophy. Today's nominees are: FAVORITE MOVIE |

Thanks for posting these Paul. I usually get a big kick out of seeing the 'people's' choice. Btw, which 3 are you referring to? Numbers 3, 7, and 13? Actually I dont find these noms that depressing this year. That fave actress looks competitive. Could be interesting who wins that one.

How fuckin' depressing (sorry, I don't think there's any other way to say it). And tedious. BTW, are movie icons only females??? How fuckin' sexist. |

They're rotating, I think. Besides, those are their grandparents' choices.

LOL -- I was wondering why the average age of the nominees is about 75! |

O, well then I should have said great-grandparents. At least they have some wise kin.

Last year in that category there were only males. I personally don't mind a mixed gender line up, but if they continue to change from only male to only female and then back again.... it's okay. Yay, another nomination for The Iron Lady!

What if this is the only win for Argo? Of course, it could lose to The Vow.

I think Ben Stiller was nominated for comedic actor for The Watch and not Madagascar 3. |

I remember the last time I watched the People's Choice awards (like 1988 or 1989 or somehting) and they gave a Female movie icon somehting or other award. The nominees were Jane Fonda, Meryl Streep & Elizabeth Taylor. Streep won. I know the people's choice as no continuity whatsoever, but overkill for Streep if she get's this again. I'm going to vote for Smith! |

I get what your saying but considering Streep's recent Oscar win I have a feeling she'll win this...but don't get me wrong even I find the People's Choice nominations increasingly laughable every year Believe! |

Notice how the men are "Favorite Action Movie Stars" s and the women are "Favorite Face(s) of Heroism,"? LOL! This is literally medieval. Very subtle brainwashing imo. Change the title of the category "people". The Sunne in Splendour; I prefer my Roses White |

They just discredited themselves with those Magic Mike nominations.. Why is that film allowed to be nominated in both Comedy and Drama? Its like they truly don't give a shit about credability. |

As long as they come to accept the award, credibility means nothing

The best thing about it was even though Jane Fonda was a nominee, she presented the award to Streep!!! Of course we all know the winners are told before the eremony to ensure their presence...I still think this is funny and better than that awesome of Fonda to agree to do it. |
