The Wire: "Final Grades" and "Late Editions" The Shield: "Postpartum" and "Family Meeting" Battlestar Galactica: "Daybreak" Friday Night Lights: "The Son" Lost: "Through the Looking Glass" and "Exodus"
A ton of Six Feet Under episodes. Not just "Everyone's Waiting" and "All Alone" but the season 2 finale got me teary eyed as did the Season 4 Premiere.
And "The Rainbow of Her Reasons," when Fiona died. Specifically, when the women were singing "Calling All Angels." But nothing made me sob as much as the series finale. And no other TV show affected me emotionally as much as this one.
Desperate Housewives: -It Wasn't Meant to Happen (Gaby's baby gets taken away from her) -Bang (the ultimate tearjerker of DH) -Welcome to Kanagawa (the aftermath of the tornado, especially with the Kathryn Joosten scenes) -Women and Death (Susan mourns the death of Mike) -Finishing the Hat (eight years of great television came to an emotional end)
The Good Wife: -In Sickness
Glee: -Grilled Cheesus -Funeral -Goodbye
Grey's Anatomy: -Stairway to Heaven -Death and All His Friends
The Big C: -Taking the Plunge
Brothers and Sisters: -Mistakes Were Made (the characters look back on the past) -Troubled Waters (Kitty's baby is born and Robert has a heart attack) -Time After Time (Kevin learns he's responsible for a physical handicap of an old friend) -Lights Out (Scotty sings 'The Parting Glass' when they close down Ojai Foods)
