He's obviously schizophrenic. We never got to see him be "Geller" before that, that's all. Dexter also acts differently when he's in his kill room. |

I don't know how to feel about this last episode. I want to love the show, as it used to be the best thing on television. Instead, the last two seasons have been kinda garbage. I'm sure they're saving the best for last (PLEASE BE SAVING THE BEST FOR LAST) but I'm skeptical. I believe this episode has done some things right, but most of it was terrible. I think the part I hated most was Dexter telling Louis how offensive his game was. That was such a terrible terrible scene. The whole idea of Louis being a killer is stupid and obvious to me, so I pray that the writers don't go that way. I'm curious to see what will they do with Batista? This show is known for being unsympathetic to its characters, so it wouldn't be a stretch to say he might get killed off. He doesn't do a lot anyhow, so it would almost be the most logical thing to do.

If they kill Batista, I'll be pissed off, if only because that could've been Quinn. Batista is a somewhat likeable, if uninteresting and sometimes cartoony character. Quinn, on the other hand, serves no prupose other than being annoying. He's not even a Doakes wannabee anymore, so I'd love to see him be killed off, not Batista. That being said, it's not as if anyone cares about any character other than Deb or Masuka at Miami Metro, so they can do whatever the hell they want with those characters. |

I'm still holding out hope that Angel really resents Deb getting promoted over him and that this will somehow come up in the future, so yeah, I hope he doesn't get killed off. I wouldn't miss Quinn for a moment, though ;) I am starting to wonder if Louis really isn't a serial killer, but the opposite- he's obsessed with tracking them and finding their motives (ie., the video game), and that he may be on to Dexter and hoping to "out" him. 'Course, it might be a fine line... |

See, I really like that being a possible explanation for Louis. It's original, and it doesn't seem forced. In fact, I would totally respect the writers if they didn't take the easy way out and make Louis a serial killer. Quinn should be killed off, but Batista is the one who is in the belly of the beast, so it's hard to say what will come of either character at this point. I guess we'll have to find out the old fashioned way. :/

Holy shit was this bad. From the horrible dream sequence (which by the way, with a good writer would be provocative and unsettling) that felt like cheesy romance between cousins to the completely contrived Matthews.La Guerta storyline to the awful '666' BS with Dexter sending a VIDEO MESSAGE TO THE KILLER!!!! This show has got so bad it is infuriating. Even Michael C. Hall is beginning to look ridiculous the writing is so bad and he was their one silver lining and a thin thread at that. |

| Louis sending Dexter the Ice Truck killer hand is the only thing interesting right now and I know they are just going to find a way to fuck it up. | |

This was a very mediocre episode to me. It felt extremely rushed. The whole "Wormwood" thing was over like that. Dexter made a dumb decision to go after Travis in his condition. I also thought Dexter got out of that situation way to easily. LaGuerta has never been a favorite of mine, but she has really turned into a cold-hearted person. Deb`s therapist tells her she might be in love with her brother, and then just a few hours later she starts to think it`s true. Louis sending The ITK arm to Dexter was the most interesting thing about the episode to me. I am not sure what he was writing on it though. Was he drawing veins on it? It seems the writers are going to go there with the Deb/Dexter thing. I don`t like the idea, and I am not confident at all the writers would be able to make that work. "Talk to the Hand": C |

This show has really become quite a mess. I think it was as recently as last week when I was still defending a few of the aspects of the show, including Deb's therapy sessions. What I thought/hoped was that Deb realizing that Dexter was her "safe place" was a set up for her discovering his secret, and having to deal with that. But I did not at all think it was anything but platonic! Blech, why do they have to go there?? Laguerta has never been a favorite of mine, but she has turned into such a caricature by now that it's hard to watch. Dexter being able to stop the suicide smoke-bomber was one of the few exciting moments of the episode at the time, but in retrospect I'm a little bummed at how tidy and convenient it was. Ditto him getting out of the ring of fire. I agree that Louis and the hand is one of the only things that is still holding my interest. I can make it through one more episode, but I am concerned about whether I want to go to the trouble for 2 more seasons. |

Felt like this episode was extremely rushed.. what happened to this writers? I think all that plot centering on Deb is a excuse for the lack of a good script for this season, maybe Ricochet Rabbit and Just Let It Go were the only two episodes where the writers really knew what**** they were doing. Wow.... What a terrible piece of crap. I assume next week will follow suit. This especially disappointing, as this was once the best, or one of the best shows on television. How the mighty have fallen.... flat on their face into a pile of s___.

Makes me happy Breaking Bad is ending with its creator at the helm and not trying to soldier on. |
