Can someone please address the log-in troubles to the forums? It seems to be a new system now where I get a grayed out screen whenever I try to log in. I then have to open up a new browser just to log in. Then I’m constantly timed out for even short stays on here. I lose text that I don’t copy beforehand, and I have to navigate through THREE pages before I can get back to the original post and topic. It’s very frustrating and annoying having to deal with this over and over again. Please help!

    I don’t know about that ^
But I’m having to log in each and every time I open this site. There’s no Log in Automatically button as well like before. I see there’s new ways we can log in through Twitter and Facebook, but I’m sticking to the old GD username..

I can relate to these difficulties in logging in, and for at least once, I am not the only one. The facebook login is easy (by design it seems); the regular way not so easy. I’ve found that if I “right click” on “login”, it takes me to a page where I can actually log in using my old login name and password, which I have to repeatedly as the site kicks me out every few minutes (lol). I too, see the “grey page”, and others do too.

^ Not even just when I come to the site. Every time I step away from the computer for a few minutes I have to log back in when I come back, so im like re-logging in like ten times a day. Is it gonna be fixed or is this just the way its going to be now?

I have gotten used to the new log-in. I liked the old way better though but changes are necessary sometimes (look at Facebook….they have made way too many changes sometimes but they are worth it).

What don’t you “know” about? This is my experience whenever I log on here, and I wish it would be fixed already.

I’m with you Atypical. I like the log-in automatically feature. I do NOT want to log-in through Facebook. Please, Tom, don’t make me. I want to use my GoldDerby log-in and I will hold on to that kicking and screaming.

It seems that I sign out at random moments and have to sign back in.

I have been logged out constantly ever since the site changed to the new login system, I believe on Emmy nominations morning.

It also becomes really annoying when I open GoldDerby and have tolog in again. Why can’t I put a “remeber me” option in the log-in pop-up?

Me too. It’s when I logged out to check and see if there was a problem on my end as well and that is when the problem started. Logging in automatically is so much easier.

I too am not a fan of facebook, for a number of reasons. I dont like using it and would not have had an account with them were it not for my EX, who took it upon himself to do this. Lol.

I can attest to being logged out frequently as well.

It’s also annoying to have to repeatedly sign in only to be brought to my profile page.

    This.

Also, am I right saying that GoldDerby uses Flash? It’s annoying to update, to update, to update… Until the log in flash window pops up.
