    1) the experts’ predictions pages are all messed up. there are “comedy supporting actor” predictions for a couple of members in the “comedy supporting actress” page, for instance (it’s happening in a bunch of categories). very bizarre, but expected.

    2) when i click on the arrow next to my name (at the top of the site) so I can open my profile, the tab that opens up is hidden behind the “man in the high castle” banner.

also, if you could share the name of the people who make up the so-called “Goldderby tech team”, that would be very helpful. i need to tell my friends who own or work for websites never to hire them. seriously. i could have built three fine houses since the “relaunch” – and this site is still extraordinarily problematic.

Photos are BACK! You can now upload pix using the image icon in the menu at the top of every new post. Please use ONLY photos that do not have copyright problems. This is covered in our new Terms of Service.

If you’re accessing Gold Derby from a different device, that Privacy Policy Terms of Service will pop up again, but then be gone. Otherwise, once you close it up, you shouldn’t have to bother with it again. I’m confused. Is it STILL popping up for some of you guys?

I see the problem with the polls in the music threads — they’re not working. Tx for the tipoff — I’ll get our tech guys on this

For the next few days you’re going to continue to see odd things out of place in the Predictions Center. Please be patient. Next week we’ll finally debut the newly overhauled data configuration for the site that will resolve all of that crazy stuff.

I noticed the “views” in the forum are off. All threads have more posts than views. That can’t be right. Lot’s of people just glance and don’t say anything.

Just wanted to point that out to help!

Does this mean our Awards predictions will no longer be erased, misplaced, or replacing our picks for a different category randomly?

If so, thank you and FINALLY! 🙂

If not, please fix this soon. 🙁

Yes, for me it is. While I’ve gotten used to it by now, if it wouldn’t pop up anymore that would be awesome.

I thought you said the prediction centre is working? BECAUSE IT IS NOT. Every time I log in my predictions still do not have a green check mark saying they are saved. Is it ever going to be fixed?

I don’t know why I even bother. I quit the site a couple weeks ago, but darn it, I couldn’t stay away. Well, I should have because NOTHING works. WTH? Still? And still the worst offense is the Prediction Center. I can’t even access individual events, let alone try to vote for anything. What a mess.

I’ll give you guys one thing: The comment quote system is now 1000 times better than before with the visual rather than text only interface. Kudos on that.

Is there any chance the button from the old days will be brought back that allows us to silence an annoying poster and prevent anything the individual writes from appearing on our screens?

I can't read one more post by you.

Yes, Bring! Back! Ignore! Life and my patience are too short.

OK, we’ll add that Ignore Button to the work on our Tech To Do. Good suggestion.

Even though it follows me page to page, I like how the new banner is in the bottom right, so it is easy to ignore.
