Very funny, very fun, we’ve been talking about Christina looking like Farrah Moan in the previews, so it was shockingly hilarious to hear Ru introduce her as Farrah.
A lot of early favorites in this episode, including Miz Cracker (so so funny), Monet, Aquaria, Dusty, Yuhua, and others whose name I can’t remember.

Seems to me like some, maybe all, of these examples have to do more with the person than the Oscar.
One look at Abraham presenting Page her Oscar and you know he’ll be a pain in the ass at work. Fast forward 30 something years and he’s in Curb Your Enthusiasm playing himself as everybody asumes he is. An over the top entitled asshole.

She needs a #2 first.
@andrewD Trixie was in the bottom once.
I think the season was a mess, they should’ve waited longer for this season, perhaps until the excitement of season 9 cooled off so people like Trinity, Shea and Valentina could join and make this better. Perhaps without Morgan, Milk (who I very much wanted in this but was extremely disappointed with),…[Read more]
I said from the begining. Something like that fucking wheel from last season was going to show up in the finale. The result was horrible for Shangela who deserved her spot and her win.
VERY happy for Trixie. I went back and watched her season as I didn’t remember her that well. Loved her this season. If not Shangela than it’s perfect that it was…[Read more]
According to Letterboxd and my “watched list”, I’ve seen 305 films from the list.
The last BP winner I haven’t seen is Patton (I’ve seen many that came before that). I should watch Braveheart, Gandhi and Chariots of Fire again. Those are the ones I don’t remember at all.
BenitoDelicias replied to the topic If The Dark Knight was released in 2010s, which Oscar nominations would it get ? in the forum Movies 1 week, 5 days ago
Best Picture easily. If people were crazy enough to think Wonder Woman would make it, if Deadpool got those guild nominations that made people take it seriously as a BP contender late in the game, Dark Knight would’ve been, again, an easy nominee.
It would’ve taken Logan’s spot this year. It probably would’ve gotten more votes than Disaster…[Read more]
Nice season. Carrie was the season’s winner. Adrianne should’ve won (the judging looked like it was going in her favor) in the end once the frontrunners got eliminated. But of course Joe won.
All Ben had to do was pull a Charlie Hides or a Valentina and loose the lip sync. It was easy. So I agree that she just didn’t want to loose, perhaps she was pissed a about not being on the top the previous week as she had been the past four. So she saw herself possibly loosing or being voted off eventually, even if it happened on yet another w…[Read more]
It was a TV. Probably a plasma tv or something since I remember it being many many years ago. For some reason I remember Julia Roberts saying she already owned a tv and didn’t care for the prize. So 2001?
BenitoDelicias replied to the topic "The Other Side of the Wind" The NEXT Best Picture Oscar Winner? in the forum Movies 2 weeks, 4 days ago
This would be weird.
But Chaplin did it. Although he was still alive and had not won a competitive Oscar and it happened in a “lesser” category.
Jessica Lange is another example, she won for a 4 year old film (Blue Sky). Again, not that many years and still alive and in the lamest Oscar category ever. I doubt anybody cared.
Everything went as expected. Anybody who failed at this is because of the shorts right? I don’t even know what I predicted there.
Extremely happy for Roger Deakins. FINALLY. Cool that DelToro won his pair Oscars too. Congrats to Janney, Rockwell and McDormand. Mark Bridges too. Cool that Blade Runner won effects over the awful Apes.

E! Is giving a 30 second delay to their coverage with Ryan Seacrest in case things turn confrontational on the red carpet.
This could get ugly. And I suppose ABC is supporting anything and everything E! wants to do so it doesn’t look bad on Seacrest for Today or for American Idol which is starting in a few days. Whatever E! does people will e…[Read more]
They get up for almost anybody now. I remember years ago Oscar contests would use standing ovations as tie breakers because they were rare. And suddently that question made no sense as there were many moments with standing ovations.
So I guess all four acting winners get one. You would think in these days Gary Oldman wouldn’t get one but that c…[Read more]

That was just ridiculous. The whole story of Ben wanting to be liked more than anything grows stronger with this. It’s bullshit.
And then she brings back Morgan? Morgan!? Ugh. Should’ve been Aja.
You know who should’ve gone home? The queen that already won once. Go home Bebe. Although I do love her over the top interviews and she was on top t…[Read more]
