I agree that it’s weird that Alessia Cara is considered “new”. But it’s definitely a good time for the Grammys to redeem themselves. They fucked up big time by entirely missing her out last year.
While Julia Michaels is popular, I think she’ll only appeal to the segment of musicians making Teen Pop hits (Selena, Justin).
I think that SZA will…[Read more]
Best to Worst:
- Humble – Kendrick Lamar
- That’s What I Like – Bruno Mars
- Starboy – The Weeknd ft Daft Punk
- Despacito – Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee ft Justin Bieber
- Shape of You – Ed Sheeran
- Black Beatles – Rae Sremmurd ft Gucci Mane
- Bodak Yellow – Cardi B
- Look What You Made Me Do – Taylor Swift
- Bad and Boujee – Migos ft Lil Uzi…
The Superman/Batman lyrics are so cringeworthy and Chris Martin’s voice is so sleep-inducing. I thought The Chainsmokers saved the song. But as previous posters mentioned, it sounds like an inferior ripoff of Roses.
- HUMBLE – Kendrick Lamar
- Love on the Brain – Rihanna
- Attention – Charlie Puth
- I Feel It Coming – The Weeknd ft Daft Punk
- Redbone – Childish Gambino
- That’s What I Like – Bruno Mars

- Stay – Zedd & Alessia Cara
- Slow Hands – Niall Horan
- Homemade Dynamite – Lorde
- Rockstar – Post Malone ft 21Savage
- Bon Appetit – Katy Perry ft Migos
- I’m The One – DJ Khaled ft Justin Bieber, Quavo, Chance The Rapper and Lil Wayne

Everyone let’s all ignore the Belieber Boy and not give him any chance to talk about Justin or Selena or Despacito! Let’s make his presence here feel so meaningless that he leaves this forum on his own accord!

Stop making things up! Billboard has not released their Year End Hot 100. And Humble is predicted to hit No. 4, only after Shape Of You, Despacito and That’s What I Like. Worst case scenario is that Humble ends up at No. 5 after Bad and Boujee.

Oh yes, I get it! Taylor Swift must be more white than Kelly Clarkson, Pink, Ed Sheeran, Kesha, Lady Gaga, Imagine Dragons, Portugal. The Man, The Chainsmokers and Coldplay. That’s why she got shut out of Best Pop Solo and Best Pop Duo/Group categories.
Oh wait, Pop categories are not reviewed by the BRP….

Honey, Beyonce turns demos into hit records with her voice! Taylor Swift makes hit records sound like demos. So obviously Taylor doesn’t need any demos.
I don’t think that there is “reverse racism” or affirmative action that is unfair to white artists this year. In contrast, I think that the current Grammy nominations better promotes meritocracy and provides an equal opportunity for all artists to compete regardless of their race. It is a fact that Black artists have been underrepresented in the…[Read more]
Lmao you need to stop acting as if Justin Bieber were the centrepiece of Despacito. Despacito is a globally successful hit because of its catchy melody, Luis Fonsi’s silky vocals and Daddy Yankee’s energetic rapid verses. The whole song was already a huge Latin hit and Justin Bieber merely drew attention to Despacito by adding one English verse…[Read more]
I believe that if this were a General Field category, That’s What I Like would win. But somehow I see more support for Redbone among R&B field voters.
Anyway Bruno Mars has Best R&B Album and Best R&B Performance locked. And Childish Gambino with Best Traditional R&B Performance and Best Urban Contemporary Album locked.
Kudos to Location for…[Read more]
Should Win: Loyalty (Kendrick Lamar ft Rihanna)
Will Win: Family Feud (Jay-Z ft Beyonce)
I’m predicting Jay-Z since the Grammys won’t let him go home empty-handed. And he has added star power from Beyonce here.
“Unforgettable” probably got snubbed bcos French Montana’s rapping was terrible (the only good part was Swae Lee’s chorus).
Should Win: That’s What I Like (Bruno Mars)
Will Win: That’s What I Like (Bruno Mars)
I think that 1800 and Issues didn’t get enough votes but were put in by the Blue Ribbon Committee. 1800 doesn’t deserve to be here – good message but it is extremely cringe-worthy musically.
I don’t think Jay-Z will win any General Field categories. He pr…[Read more]
