In this two-minute tease for their gig as co-hosts of the Oscars, James Franco and Anne Hathaway banter with the best of them. These two telegenic performers display a combustible chemistry that could place them among the more memorable pairings at the Academy Awards. The dry, wry wit of Franco mixes very well with the off-beat charm of Hathaway.
As they recount how they got the sought-after gig, Hathaway says she initially turned the job down as there was no leading man lined up but once Franco told her he was on board so was she. For Franco, "there is nothing like performing live" especially with Hathaway there to fills in his awkward pauses. This dynamic duo should make for a fun-filled night at the Kodak Theater on Feb. 27.
