Every year after nominations for the Emmy Awards are announced, a slew of complaints accuse the TV academy of snubbing certain actors, actresses and TV series. With so much quality television to watch, it is not surprising that some of the best of the lot get lost in the shuffle. To address this issue, the editors of Gold Derby have come together to turn the spotlight on those talented folks and shows that voters might otherwise overlook. The first of these focuses on actors, and will be followed in the days to come with galleries devoted to actresses and series. Among those we want to showcase are several leading men like Timothy Olyphant ("Justified") and David Boreanaz ("Bones") as well as supporting players such as John Noble ("Fringe") and Denis O'Hare ("True Blood").
