Our forum posters are dedicated to the Daytime Emmy Awards. To predict the winners, they do just like the judges and watch all the episode submissions. Then they rank them.
In the Best Supporting Actress race, they are as split as our Experts over who will prevail. However, Rebecca Herbst ("General Hospital") has a slight edge over the competition based on her episode submission.
Below is a sampling of their insightful commentary. Read their thorough analyses here.
IMissAMCandOLTL:
Melissa Claire Egan gives another great performance. She also has "All My Children"'s cancelation playing a big part in the way the judges vote. Genie Francis ("Young and the Restless") gave a good performance, but, not a truly great performance. Nancy Lee Grahn gave a great performance, but, the viewer's attention tends to go elsewhere. Elizabeth Hendrickson gave a good, but, at the same time, disappointing performance. Rebecca Herbst is truly the one to beat.

After watching these reels twice, this is an absolute horse race bewteen 4 actresses, with Nancy Lee Grahn the one not in contention. I could easily see Genie, Elizabeth, Melissa, and Rebecca easily taking this. It is truly that close. Nancy Lee Grahn just didn't impress me at all. These rankings are just my gut reaction, and there are some huge differences between me and the first person who reviewed this category.
Most likely to win
1) Elizabeth Hendrickson ("Young and the Restless")
2) Rebecca Herbst ("General Hospital")
3) Genie Francis ("Young and the Restless")
4) Melissa Claire Egan ("All My Children")
5) Nancy Lee Grahn ("General Hospital")
I feel it will be between Elizabeth Hendrickson and Rebecca Herbst, and I would not be suprised at all to see Genie Francis or Melissa Claire Egan win. All four of these ladies turned in brilliant perfomances.
