Can any show knock "Modern Family" from its throne as two-time reigning Best Comedy Series?
All of our Experts and Editors predict victory for this ABC laffer as do an overwhelming number of our Users.
Of last year's five also-rans, only three are favored to return to the race: "The Big Bang Theory," "Parks and Recreation," and three-time champ "30 Rock."
Neither "Glee" nor 2006 champ "The Office" is expected to contend again. Occupying one of the two vacancies should be "Curb Your Enthusiasm," which has been cited for six previous seasons but was not eligible last year.
Making a strong play for the other spot is sophomore laffer "Louie" which did reaped two bids for star Louis C.K. last year.
Of the freshman series, the top candidates include "Enlightened", "House of Lies," "New Girl," "2 Broke Girls," "Up All Night," and "Veep."
