However, three of our Experts are backing the bid by Showtime's freshman series "Homeland."
Another two Experts as well as two Editors foresee victory for another AMC drama -- "Breaking Bad" -- which was on hiatus last year but contended in this top race in 2009 and 2010.
However, third time may not be the charm for CBS's legal drama "The Good Wife" which could be bumped out by "Downton Abbey." That PBS period piece won Best Miniseries last year but is contending as a drama series for its second season. Also likely to be MIA is Showtime's "Dexter" which has lost four years in a row to "Mad Men."
