
Just like television, the Emmy Awards love reruns. These top TV kudos nominate many of the same shows and people every year. Even so, some old favorites are suddenly kicked to the curb in favor of new nominees. (Read about the possible surprise nominations here.)
Last year, reigning Drama Actress champ Kyra Sedgwick ("The Closer") was not nominated for the first time in the six-year history of her show. And Neil Patrick Harris ("How I Met Your Mother") was dropped from the Comedy Supporting Actor roster after four consecutive bids.
