Kevin Hart to host MTV Video Music Awards

Last year, Kevin Hart opened the MTV Video Music Awards and popped up throughout the kudocast. This year, the comedian has been given the official job of hosting the 29th annual edition of these awards.

To tout the Sept. 6 ceremony to be held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, Hart appears in the video below with nominee Kanye West and his current squeeze, reality star Kim Kardashian.
