One Direction debuted their sophomore album "Take Me Home" Tuesday, and they are likely to take home the Best New Artist prize at Sunday night's American Music Awards.

The Brit boy band came to fame on the UK version of "The X Factor" and has had several No. 1  singles, including "What Makes You Beautiful."

The fab five top our leaderboard with odds of 27 to 20, and are the unanimous pick of our Editors and the overwhelming favorite among our Users.

Their nearest rival is Canadian Carly Rae Jepsen, who had a hit of her own last summer with the infectious "Call Me Maybe."

The indie pop band Fun. went mainstream with their single "We Are Young."

Gotye is a Belgian-Australian singer-songwriter who both penned and crooned the blockbuster single "Somebody That I Used to Know."

The fifth nominee, J. Cole also contended at this year's Grammys for Best New Artist.
