SAG Awards TV snubs: Emmy champs Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Julie Bowen, Jon Cryer, Aaron Paul

SAG Awards nominations snubs Julia Louis-Dreyfus  Julie Bowen Jon Cryer Aaron Paul TV entertainment news 13579086

The SAG TV Awards snubbed a slew of Emmy champs and nominees. Among the most notable names missing from Wednesday's roster of contenders for these kudos: both of HBO's freshman series "Girls" and "Veep", including the former's multi-hyphenate Lena Dunham and the latter's Emmy-winning star Julia Louis-Dreyfus. Also MIA are reigning two-time supporting Emmy winner Julie Bowen ("Modern Family") as well as her TV dad Ed O'Neill, recent Emmy winner Jon Cryer ("Two and a Half Men"), "Breaking Bad"'s two-time Emmy champ Aaron Paul," "House's" Hugh Laurie for that show's final season and perennial nominee Glenn Close ("Damages").
