All members of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences are now being invited to pick the winners of three categories previously decided only by members who would attend special screenings: Best Documentary Feature, Best Animated Short Subject and Best Live Action Short Subject.

"For the first time this year, our entire membership will be able to vote in three additional categories," AMPAS President Hawk Koch says in a letter emailed to voters on Saturday. "The Academy will be sending you DVD screeners of the nominated films from these three categories before final voting begins."
