At the Grammys on Sunday, February 10, Jimmy Fallon will complete half an EGOT according to our predictions. The Emmy-winning comic and talk show host is the frontrunner to win Best Comedy Album for "Blow Your Pants Off," getting 12/5 odds.
But not everyone agrees. Though he's the overwhelming favorite of users, our editors are split, with two backing Fallon and three favoring the Jack Black/Kyle Gass music duo Tenacious D for their collection "Rize of the Fenix." They're currently in second place with 10/3 odds.
In third place with 11/2 odds is Lewis Black for "In God We Rust." Unlike Fallon and Tenacious D, Black is a previous winner, with Grammys in 2006 for "The Carnegie Hall Performance" and 2010 for "Stark Raving Black."
"Seaman 1st Class" is the fifth consecutive nomination in this category for Kathy Griffin. She has yet to win, and most of our predictors expect that streak to continue. She is ranked fifth with 15/2 odds.
Every actor submits only one sample episode, which will be judged by other actors (ranging from 25 to 75 per category jury) between July 28 and August 14. TV series submit six, which will be split into three pairs to be distributed randomly to about 300 voters. We've got 85% of all titles and will have the others soonest. CLICK HERE
