Our two music awards editors -- Darrin Dortch and David Schnelwar -- agree on the winner of Best Pop Vocal Album at this Sunday's Grammys.
“Stronger” - Kelly Clarkson
“Ceremonials” - Florence + The Machine
“Some Nights” - Fun. -- Darrin, David
“Overexposed” - Maroon 5
“The Truth About Love” - Pink
Darrin's analysis
Fun. scored six nominations overall, including Album of the Year. It’d be a shock if they lost here.
David's analysis
Fun.’s “Some Nights” is the only Best Pop Vocal Album nominee in this category to be nominated for Album of the Year.
Kelly Clarkson is a previous winner in this category for her album “Breakway” in 2005. No artist has won in this twice category.
Florence + The Machine and Maroon 5 are also nominated against Fun. for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.
If there is an upset, Maroon 5 is most likely to do it. The Grammys like to award previous Best New Artist winners.
