"Silver Linings Playbook" was the top winner at the Film Independent Spirit Awards, taking four awards including Best Feature and Best Director (David O. Russell), categories we had predicted to go to festival sensation "Beasts of the Southern Wild."
Nevertheless, our top-scoring expert, Susan Wloszczyna (USA Today), correctly predicted 10 out of 13 categories, for a score of 77%. She correctly picked "Silver Linings" for Best Feature as well as three out of four acting races.
Gold Derby's Tom O'Neil and Paul Sheehan followed with eight correct predictions (62%).
Three experts picked seven winners (54%): Matt Atchity (Rotten Tomatoes), Richard Horgan (Fishbowl LA), and Thom Geier (Entertainment Weekly).
