Academy of Country Music ACM Awards Thompson Square Sugarland music news

Last year, Thompson Square finally won Best Vocal Duo at the Academy of Country Music Awards. They edged out Sugarland which had won the previous two years running.

The two duos face off again this year, with the defending champs having the slight edge. They are the pick of three of our editors and about 60% of users. That translates into leading odds of 19 to 10

Sugarland has the support of two of our editors and 25% of users for odds of 13 to 5.

First-time nominees Florida Georgia Line are in third with the backing of 10% of users and odds of 11 to 2. They also contend for Best New Artist.

Returning nominees Love and Theft have little support and odds of 15 to 2.
