, Emmy Awards Nominations 2013 - Movie/Miniseries
Last year, the first season of "American Horror Story" lost the newly combined category of Best Movie/Miniseries to "Game Change."
This year, it faces a fierce foe in HBO's biopic of Liberace, "Behind the Candelabra." While "American Horror Story: Asylum" showcases two-time Oscar winner Jessica Lange, Steven Soderbergh's film features a pair of Oscar champs -- Michael Douglas and Matt Damon as the showman and his consort.
Currently, "Candelabra" has the edge, with five of our editors and 60% of our users predicting it to prevail. That gives it leading odds of 12 to 5.
"Asylum" has the backing of two editors and 30% of users for odds of 10 to 3.
The crime thriller "Top of the Lake" headlined by another Oscar winner, Holly Hunter, has the support of one editor and 5% of users for odds of 6 to 1.
