"Mucho Macho Man has a really big chance to win this race," says Dan Illman (Daily Racing Form) about his pick to win the Breeders' Cup Classic on Saturday. "I liked him at last year's Breeders' Cup. He ran a very good second. He's always had the potential to be a really top horse."
This year Mucho Macho Man has "had perfect prep," he adds. "This is the best I ever saw him."
But Illman also thinks his horse is a good price with 5 -to-1 odds set by the pros. "I concede that Game on Dude is the horse to beat. He may very well be the best horse. But the name of this tune is gambling. Game on Dude is going to be a very short price and I'm not sure the reward is worth the risk."
