At Thursday's announcement of the Golden Globe TV nominations, expect strong showings by "Breaking Bad" and "Homeland" which are both predicted to earn four bids. Among laffers, look for newcomers "The Crazy Ones" and "Veep" to reap three apiece.

While we predict "Homeland" star Claire Danes will win here for the third year in a row, "Breaking Bad" should take the top prize here as it did at the Emmys with Bryan Cranston also prevailing. "Girls" is likely to repeat as the best laffer though Julia Louis-Dreyfus ("Veep") should win a Globe to join her two Emmys for this role. And Michael J. Fox is likely to get a welcome back hug from the Hollywood Foreign Press Assn.
