After a break of nine years, the Make-Up Artists and Hair Stylists Guild resurrected its kudos this year and cited all seven films on the shortlist for that Oscar across their five film categories.

"The Lone Ranger" landed two bids while “American Hustle,”  “Bad Grandpa,” “Dallas Buyers Club,” “The Great Gatsby,” “Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters,” and “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” each earned one.

On the TV front, “American Horror Story: Coven,” “Behind the Candelabra,” “Breaking Bad,”“Hell on Wheels,” “Key & Peele” and “Vikings” each received two nominations.

The awards will be handed out on Feb. 15 at Paramount Studios. 2012 honorary Oscar recipient Dick Smith will be feted for his lifetime of achievement in the field of makeup.
