Our two music awards experts -- David Schnelwar and Darrin Dortch -- are previewing the top Grammys races. The first field in their sights is Rap.

BEST RAP PERFORMANCE BY A DUO OR GROUP
“Shutterbug,” Big Boi & Cutty
“Fancy,” Drake, T.I. & Swizz Beatz
“On to the Next One,” Jay-Z & Swizz Beatz
“My Chick Bad,” Ludacris & Nicki Minaj
“Lose My Mind,” Young Jeezy & Plies

David writes: "Jay-Z and Swizz Beatz are the frontrunners to win due to their Best Rap Song nomination for "On To The Next One."  There is an outside chance that Ludacris & Nicki Minaj's "My Chick Bad" could upset. Nicki Minaj was ubiquitous in 2010. This is the only category voters get a chance to vote for her. Drake, T.I. & Swizz Beatz's "Fancy" is not likely to upset. Big Boi & Cutty's "Shutterbug" and Young Jeezy & Plies' "Lose My Mind" are non factors. I expect Jay-Z & Swizz Beatz to literally go "on to the next one" and win.

For Darrin: "Voters may want to honor Drake or Nicki Minaj here since they each had a breakout year, but perennial fave Jay-Z and Swizz will deservingly win for “On to the Next One." However, Darrin thinks "Fancy" as well as "My Chick Bad" could be a spoiler.
