"Clockwork Orange" (1971)

The film's main character Alex (Malcolm McDowell) loves classical music, rape and "ultra-violence." Indeed, the extreme level of sexualized violence in the film led to such controversy in the U.K. that director Stanley Kubrick withdrew it from cinemas. It was nominated for Best Picture, Director, Screenplay and Editing.
