Watch: Anne Hathaway inviting kids choir to Oscars

Anne Hathaway gave an early Christmas present to the choir of New York’s P.S. 22 on Thursday. She showed up at their concert to invite them to sing on the upcoming Oscars. The choir has become an Internet phenomenon for their renditions of songs by the likes of Lady Gaga and Tori Amos.

In the video below, first-time Oscars producer Bruce Cohen introduces himself and then Hathaway to the children and audience. When she asks them to sing on the Feb. 27 show, their squeals of delight are deafening. After they finally quiet down, Hathaway and Cohen join the children for a spirited chorus of “Jingle Bells.”
