Best Globe Film Predix by Editors: Beachum, Dortch, Schnelwar

The nine Gold Derby editors predicted the Golden Globe Awards. While several of us bested the experts with their Critics’ Choice predix, none of us managed to outdo Thelma Adams (Us Weekly, and Sasha Stone (AwardsDaily) who each got 12 of the Globe film races right.

Among the editors, the winners were Chris Beachum, Darrin Dortch and David Schnelwar with 11 categories correct. They were followed by Marcus Dixon, Matt Noble and Andrew Pickett with nine each. Rob Licuria and I scored eight while Ben Scuglia got seven.

While we all foresaw Natalie Portman‘s win for Best Drama Actress for “Black Swan” as well as Aaron Sorkin taking the screenplay prize for “The Social Network,” none of us correctly predicted the Foreign Language race. And only three of us — Darrin, David and I — nailed the result of “Best Score” category which went to Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross for “The Social Network.”

Our predictions can be found here while the full list of winners is here. And the results of our TV forecast can be found here.
