‘Boardwalk Empire’ teases ‘things are changing’ for second season [Video]

The second season of the HBO drama “Boardwalk Empire” kicks off in September. In this video preview, bootlegger Jimmy Darmody (Michael Pitt) announces, “Things are changing in Atlantic City.” And his one-time mentor Nucky Thompson (Steve Buscemi) does not take this shift well as he proclaims, “I will ruin you. All of you.”

The first season of “Boardwalk Empire” debuted on Sunday, Sept. 19, 2010. This year’s Emmys are set for that same third Sunday in September raising the possibility that the sophomore season of “Boardwalk Empire” could kick off the same night that the first season is contending for a slew of TV’s top honors.
