Grammys Predictions: Best Electronic/Dance Album

Darrin Dortch and David Schnelwar reveal who will win and who should win the other dance-related Grammy race: Best Electronic/Dance Album. The already offered their picks and predix for Best Dance Recording.

And they have also given their predictions for Best Rap SongBest Rap Album, Best Rap Duo or Group, Best Rap/Sung Collaboration and Best Rap Solo Performance and will be predicting the rest of the top races in the days to come.

Darrin’s take: The winner of this category always has a corresponding nomination in the dance recording category. La Roux and Goldfrapp are the only acts here also nodded for dance recording so they’re the frontrunners. I’m giving La Roux the edge since they are coming off of a huge, breakout year.

David’s take: La Roux and Goldfrapp are both nominated for Best Dance Recording this year, however you can’t count out The Chemical Brothers. They are the only artists to win in Best Electronic/Dance Album twice previously. BT and Groove Armada are not likely to win. La Roux will prevail due their crossover hit song “Bulletproof.”
