Dishing with Michael Cudlitz from TNT’s ‘Southland’ [Video]

Senior editors Chris Beachum and Rob Licuria recently conducted a video chat with Michael Cudlitz to discuss his role on TNT’s “Southland” and the buzz surrounding the show. Cudlitz also touched on one of his career highlights — working with Steven Spielberg on HBO’s “Band of Brothers” — as well as upcoming projects he has in the pipeline.

Southland” has seen a resurgence in its third season on TNT after it was dumped by NBC due to low ratings and to make room for the now-defunct “Jay Leno Show.” The Washington Post raved that it is “a show of high caliber and riveting brilliance, instantly one of the finest hours of TiVo-worthy drama anywhere on the tube.” The Boston Herald singled Michael out for his “note-perfect performance” with the Wall Street Journal saying that “Cudlitz takes a stock character in police dramas – the cynic with his passion to get bad guys still strong – and makes him a man we cannot pin down so easily, even while he lights up the screen in every scene he’s in.”
