As well as four new series, Showtime has a half dozen returning shows that could reap a slew of Emmy Awards nominations. The paycaster has confirmed exclusively to Gold Derby category placements for many of its contenders.
Among them are “Nurse Jackie” and “United States of Tara” which boast star turns by the two most recent Best Comedy Actress Emmy winners Edie Falco and Toni Collette respectively. And the slate of guest acting potential nominees include an Oscar winner as well as several previous Emmy champs.
