Our Experts, Editors and Users are divided as to who will win Best Drama Supporting Actress at this year’s Emmys.

Ten of our Experts and five Editors expect Maggie Smith to win for her role as the tart-tongued dowager Duchess in PBS’ “Downton Abbey.”
Last year, the two-time Oscar champ (“The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie,” 1969; “California Suite,” 1978) claimed the equivalent category in the movie/miniseries genre for the first season of this Brit import.
In second place is Christina Hendricks who has the backing of two Experts and four Editors for her work on AMC’s period drama “Mad Men.” She has contended twice before for her role as an ambitious woman in a man’s world.
One of our Experts predicts that third time will be the charm for Christine Baranski for her role as a legal eagle on “The Good Wife.” She won the supporting comedy Emmy back in 1995 for “Cybill.”
One of our Editors is backing the bid by Kelly Macdonald for HBO’s Prohibition-era “Boardwalk Empire.” She contended last year as well for her work as the mistress of a gangster.
2010 champ Archie Panjabi (“The Good Wife”) is unlikely to claim a matching bookend this year.
And “Breaking Bad” featured player Anna Gunn is likely to be only celebrating her first nomination.
