Over in our forums, TV 12 adds to his total of more than 1,000 posts with this provocative topic: Which TV program will lead with the most nominations for this year’s Emmy Awards? As he notes, “it is much more difficult to predict than the Oscars because each show can have multiple episodes nominated.”

What do you think will reap the most bids when nominations are announced on July 19? Weigh in with your thoughts here. To guide you, below are just a sample of the predictions by our forum posters.
TV12
In Drama, I think “Mad Men” will lead again with around 15 nominations. “The Good Wife,” however, will be increasing its totals if my predictions hold up and could have 14 or 15 nominations. “Homeland” could receive up to 12 nominations. “Downton Abbey” will get a lot of technical nods that could push it to the top.
In Comedy, “Modern Family” will, no doubt, have the most nominations with around 15 nods.
In Mini/Movie, “Hatfields and McCoys” has a very good shot at leading the nominations overall. I’m predicting 18 nominations for “H&M.” “Hemingway and Gellhorn” could land a lot of technical nods and earn around 13 or 14.
In Variety, the 63rd Annual Tony Awards will get a good number of nominations, probably about five. However, “Saturday Night Live” could land, if my predictions hold, up to 16 nominations.

“The Office“, “Glee“, “Dexter“, “The Killing“, “Boardwalk Empire” will be down.
“Modern Family,” “30 Rock,” “The Good Wife” and “Mad Men” will be the same.
“Justified,” “Parks and Recreation” and “Breaking Bad” (against its last year eligible) will be up.
I can’t tell how “Downton Abbey” will fare in changing in category. I think that “New Girl,” “Veep” and “Homeland” will gain a lot of nominations. “Community” could now see an increase as well in writing for sure and possibly series or lead actor. I also think “American Horror Story” will gain a lot more nominations contending in Movie/Mini (such as Dylan McDermott and Connie Britton) as opposed to Drama.
