Rihanna will win Female R&B Artist for fourth time at AMAs

Rihanna and Beyonce have evenly split the last six American Music Awards for Favorite Female Soul/R&B Artist. Beyonce won the last two in a row, but she isn’t nominated this year, which is good news for Rihanna if our current predictions are any indication.

Rihanna is ahead with 10/9 odds to add a fourth trophy to the ones she won in 2007, 2008, and 2010. She has four overall nominations this year, including Artist of the Year. The 25-year-old singer has also been chosen to receive the inaugural Icon Award for her body of work.

But don’t count out Alicia Keys. She was previously awarded in 2004 and gets 2/1 odds to spoil with support from 21% of users and seven top users.

Ciara is a distant third in the race with 4/1 odds. This is her second AMA nomination, coming eight years after her first bid in 2005, when she lost this category to Mariah Carey.
