As expected, Taylor Swift and Justin Timberlake were among the top winners, with Swift winning four, including Artist of the Year, and Timberlake taking three prizes of his own. But there were also surprise wins for One Direction, Ariana Grande, and Florida Georgia Line.

Two users were able to predict 73% of winners: aosorio19 and Mike_Warren. Another eight predicted 69% of winners.

They outscored all of our editors, the best of whom – Chris Beachum and Daniel Montgomery – scored 64%. They were followed by Paul Sheehan with 60%, David Schnelwar with 55%, and Marcus Dixon and Charles Bright with 46%.

However, our editors did outscore Gold Derby users on average: 55% to 48%.
