While none of Gold Derby’s experts are predicting the show to win the top Emmy, three editors (Chris BeachumMatt Noble and me) think it’ll prevail.

The show has odds of 9/1, which puts it in fifth place behind reigning champ “Modern Family,” ratings juggernaut “The Big Bang Theory,” critical darling “Girls” and three-time winner “30 Rock.”

The critics have been less-than-enthusiastic about “Arrested Development’s” fourth-season revival on Netflix. They snubbed the show at last month’s Critics’ Choice TV Awards as well as the upcoming kudos handed out by the Television Critics Assn.

But the Emmys are a different beast altogether, and there’s no telling how the TV academy will respond to the show’s much-anticipated return.
