WATCH: Bob Newhart, Carrie Preston, Margo Martinale on Emmys Creative Arts red carpet

Gold Derby editors Tom O’Neil and Marcus Dixon interviewed three of this year’s guest acting Emmy nominees on the Creative Arts red carpet Sept. 15.

Bob Newhart (“The Big Bang Theory“) tells us why he wanted to be on “The Big Bang Theory” instead of producer Chuck Lorre‘s other sitcom “Two and a Half Men.”

Carrie Preston (“The Good Wife“) feels extremely lucky to be nominated in the Drama Guest Actress race because the field is so unbelievably crowded. For her, the nomination is the win.

Margo Martindale (“The Americans“) explains why FX is a good fit for her, having previously won the Drama Supporting Actress race for “Justified.”
