Pete Hammond’s Emmy predictions: ‘Big Bang Theory,’ ‘Breaking Bad’

Pay special attention to the Emmy predictions just given to Gold Derby by Pete Hammond. He not only writes about Emmys extensively for Deadline Hollywood, but he belongs to the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences and is a member of its Board of Governors. Oh, yeah, Pete’s also pretty good at awards prognostication. Often in the past he’s reaped the best score among our Oscar pundits.

Pete believes “The Big Bang Theory” will stop the recent “Modern Family” juggernaut in the race for Best Comedy Series and that “Breaking Bad” will finally prevail as Best Drama Series.

He’s also betting on the return of many past champs: Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Jim Parsons, Julie Bowen, Eric Stonestreet, Aaron Paul, “Amazing Race” and “Daily Show.” See his full rankings here. See how his predix stack up against other pundits here.
