Our Experts, Editors and hundreds of Users have predicted the film winners of Sunday’s Golden Globes, which will air live on NBC. (See our predictons for TV winners here.)
These awards are handed out by the fewer than 100 members of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. Though they have previously aligned closely with the Oscars, in recent years their track record as a precursor prize has been spotty. Since 2004, only twice has Oscar’s Best Picture won already at the Golden Globes (“Slumdog Millionaire” in 2008, “The Artist” in 2011).
“Lincoln” leads with seven nominations and is expected to win five: Drama Picture, Drama Actor (Daniel Day-Lewis), Supporting Actor (Tommy Lee Jones) Screenplay, and Score. However, Steven Spielberg is expected to lose Best Director to Ben Affleck, who our experts predict will be the only victor for the CIA thriller “Argo.”

“Les Miserables” is projected to take three of its four races: Comedy/Musical Picture, Comedy/Musical Actor (Hugh Jackman), and Supporting Actress (Anne Hathaway). Its last nomination, Best Song, is expected to go to Adele‘s theme from “Skyfall.”
“Zero Dark Thirty” is expected to win one of its four bids: Best Drama Actress (Jessica Chastain). “Silver Linings Playbook” will also go one out of four: Best Comedy/Musical Actress (Jennifer Lawrence).
