The winners were decided by MTV fans voting online, and their results were often surprising. While “The Avengers” and Jennifer Lawrence predictably won Best Movie and Best Female Performance, respectively, few of our users foresaw the wins by Suraj Sharma (Best Scared Performance in “Life of Pi“), “Django Unchained” (Best WTF Moment), or “Pitch Perfect” (Best Musical Moment). Nevertheless, two of our users managed to predict the winners with 75% accuracy, beating all others: SatuAholin and KingOfTheWorld. Another seven users predicted 67% of the winners.

That was better than our editors, who were led by Tom O’Neil with 59%. Following with 50% correct were Darrin Dortch, David Schnelwar, and Paul Sheehan. Marcus Dixon and Daniel Montgomery scored 42% each. Chris Beachum picked 17% of winners.
