Taylor Swift, Miranda Lambert predicted to win big at ACM Awards

Two of country music’s hottest talents — Taylor Swift and Miranda Lambert — are expected to dominate Sunday’s Academy of Country Music Awards

Swift is predicted to pick up her third consecutive Entertainer of the Year prize as well as Album of the Year for her multiple platinum-selling disc “Red” and Video of the Year for her smash hit “We Are Never Getting Back Together.” (See category breakdown of predicted winners and spoilers here.)

And Lambert is likely to take home her fourth straight award for Best Female Vocalist as well as Song of the Year for her #1 single “Over You.”

She penned that tune with hubby Blake Shelton who is expected to repeat as Best Male Vocalist.

Also predicted to win again are reigning Vocal Duo champs Thompson Square.

However, Little Big Town is expected to finally prevail for Vocal Group with their seventh bid, deposing three-time champs Sugarland. And the group will win Record of the Year for “Pontoon.”

Two of country’s old guard — Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw — have won a combined 26 ACM Awards — and are expected to claim Vocal Event for their duet of “Feels Like A Rock Star.”
