‘Twilight,’ Lea Michele, One Direction lead Teen Choice Awards winners

No surprise that the final installment of the “Twilight” series, “Breaking Dawn – Part 2” won all seven of its bids at the Teen Choice Awards on Sunday. The film franchise has dominated these kudos for the last four years running. (See full list of winners here.)

The movie claimed both the romance and sci-fi/fantasy film prizes. Kristen Stewart won choice actress in both genres while Robert Pattinson earned the romance actor honor, Taylor Lautner took the sci-fi/fantasy prize and Kellan Lutz was named scene-stealer. 

On the TV front, Lea Michele dedicated her comedy actress award to her recently deceased co-star and boyfriend Cory Monteith. Their show, “Glee” was named top comedy while “The Vampire Diaries” and “Pretty Little Liars” repeated as sci-fi/fantasy and drama respectively. 

Justin Bieber picked up another male music award with Demi Lovato named top songbird and Brit boy band One Direction claiming the group prize. 

Winners were decided by popular vote, with more than 150 million ballots cast. Darren Criss (“Glee”) and Lucy Hale (“Pretty Little Liars”) hosted the kudocast on Fox.
