Fox Searchlight announces a limited platform release for “Twelve Years a Slave” on December 27, 2013. The film, based on the true story of Solomon Northrup, a free black man abducted and sold into slavery. Directed by Steve McQueen (“Shame“), the cast is led by Chiwetel Ejiofor and also includes Michael Fassbender and Brad Pitt.
