‘American Idol’ Top 4: Will Alex Preston or Jessica Meuse be eliminated?

As Season 13 of “American Idol” winds down and the contestant pool gets smaller and smaller, one of your favorites is predicted to have a bad Top 4 Week. According to Gold Derby odds, this week Alex Preston will appear in America’s bottom two for the first time ever, alongside country singer Jessica Meuse.

American Idol’ finale predictions: Rocker (Caleb Johnson) vs. rocker (Jena Irene)

With only three weeks left in the competition, let’s take a look at the odds of being eliminated for each of the remaining four contestants:

Jessica Meuse (elimination odds of 1/4) – Unless there’s a huge shocker during Thursday night’s results show, Jessica is predicted to follow Sam Woolf out the door. She’s already been in America’s bottom three twice now, during Top 7 Week and Top 6 Week.

Alex Preston (elimination odds of 5/1) – Alex has the second-best chance of being eliminated according to our oddsmakers. This would be his first time in the bottom two.

Caleb Johnson (elimination odds of 22/1) – Like Alex, Caleb has never appeared in America’s bottom two or three. He is tied with Jena for having the lowest odds of being eliminated.

Jena Irene (elimination odds of 22/1) – Jena has appeared in America’s bottom three only once, way back in Top 12 Week. She is tied with Caleb for the lowest chance of being sent home.
